    Responsibilities

    Otsuka has entered into a groundbreaking strategic relationship with a leading technology company to help shape the future of the mental health care landscape.  The alliance relationship brings together data and analytic capabilities along with Otsuka’s behavioral health expertise.   This full time position is dedicated to the support of business development activities and technical sales support with our technology partner in our digital health business division.

     

    • Develop and gain initial insights into potential prospects in the world of mental health services, government, quasi-government agencies, and large provider organizations
    • Manage business development activity reports
    • Work within our strategic alliance on business development activities this includes support on full implementation of business services, follow up support, and identify business expansion opportunities
    • Demonstrate high proficiency in communicating digital health products and services
    • Represent the strategic alliance at trade shows and other customer forum venues
    • Participate in ad hoc business plan activities
    • Monitor competitors product information
    • Plan complex business development and commercial strategies

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Required

    • Experience with mental health trade associations and/or NCQA and URAC accreditation requirements
    • Minimum six years business development and/or behavioral health organization management experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Master’s in behavioral health field is  strongly preferred

    Required Skills

    • Deep knowledge of Behavioral Healthcare at the state and county level
    • Knowledge of behavioral payor organizations and trade associations
    • Knowledge of state laws, agencies and accrediting bodies especially Medicaid and MH/SA
    • Knowledge of organization and funding by state and health plans
