    Responsibilities

    The Director of Business Development will drive the sales process for a leading-edge population health management solution and related services to health plans and managed care organizations that administer behavioral health benefits and other healthcare payers.

     

    The Director of Business Development will lead account teams including senior behavioral health, technology, and services professionals.

     

    Additional Responsibilities Include:

     

    • Drive the sales process for a leading-edge population health management solution and related services to health plans and managed care organizations that administer behavioral health benefits and other healthcare payers.
    • Lead account teams including senior behavioral health, technology, and services professionals.
    • Forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
    • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the solution
    • Lead the development, presentation, and sales of the value proposition
    • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale
    • Maintains patient level data to which the position may have access, directly or indirectly, in a confidential and secure manner consistent with ODH,Inc. policies and federal and state laws (i.e., HIPAA, SAMSA, state data destruction laws).
    • Undergoes training on HIPAA and other privacy regulations on at least an annual basis or upon any significant change in the law, as determined by the Privacy Officer or the Information Security Officer. Incorporates learning from training into daily job functions.
    • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity in working with sensitive data or protected health information. Upon becoming aware of a data incident or a suspected data breach, the person filling this position is expected to immediately report such incident to the Privacy Officer or Information Security Officer.
    • Maintains accurate and complete documentation regarding the creation, use, storage, or transmission of protected health information, as required by applicable laws.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, a master’s degree in behavioral health would be a distinct advantage, but not required
    • Minimum six years business development and/or behavioral health organization management experience strongly preferred
    • Ability to penetrate accounts and develop relationships with C-level executives
    • Ability to identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers
    • Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skill required to lead account teams that includes a diverse mix of physicians, clinicians, behavioral health, and technology professionals
    • Excellent communication, negotiating, closing skills with prospective clients
    • Healthcare, Behavioral Health and / or Payer industry expertise is a distinct advantage
